"Ashley and I met in November of 2011. From the first moment I saw her, I knew I had to know her and have her in my life. I had never felt anything like that before, and it was intimidating, but also so exciting at the same time. After a few months, I did freak out a little bit and ended things with Ash. I was battling with some inner demons about my sexuality and wasn't sure what I wanted at that moment. Ash gave me my space and supported me time and time again. I know it couldn't have been easy for her but she handled it with such grace that in the end, it made my decision that much easier. When it finally hit me, I realized she's what I had been waiting for and I have nothing to be scared of. In that moment, I realized I was helplessly in love with her and I needed her by my side for the rest of my life.
